Kamal Design Studio is a tailoring and design studio in Thane, Its owner, Mr Ravindra Nayak have degrees in apparel design and are experts in garment fit and construction, attending to everything from formal, semi-formal, casual, party, traditional wear, to soothing nervous brides as they fit their dresses.
Despite running a professional studio that’s known for expert techniques, Ravindra still vividly remembers his home sewing experience. He has been sewing for over 70 hours a week for twenty-two years.
There’s something to be learned from Ravindra’s unique schedule. For much of the year, he is working on alterations and tailoring, keeping his technical skills sharp. His technical skills make his designs fit well, and his creative skills make them elegant. This balance of perfecting technical skills and exercising creativity is a helpful model for approaching sewing projects.

Kamal Design Studio is a Tailoring and design studio with a full service atelier that offers expert alterations and tailoring services. All services are offered in our studio during store hours where a tailor will fit you and schedule a pick up date of your altered garment. We welcome walk-in also.
We use top of the line machinery for any and all fabric types on all job types from small to big sewing projects.
We offers our clients a professional seamstress for wedding dresses. No matter big or small, short or long. We work with corsets, beads, sequences, boning, trains, bust cup, veils and bustles. Wedding dresses in Kamal design studio’s tailoring are altered from a to z for a ready to wear perfection. For wedding dresses scheduling an appointment is strongly recommended.
